Services

Six products, one framework. Full building audits, deep dives, digital reviews, advisory and training, with every price published.

Six products, one framework. They differ in scope and depth, never in method. Every one applies the same six domains, the same Solutions Spectrum, and the Social Model without exception.

What changes is how much of the building, or how much of the question, is in scope.

🧭
If you are not sure which of these you need, book the £50 clinic and I will tell you. Sometimes the answer is that you do not need any of them.

The Six Sides Audit

The full building audit, and the thing the practice is known for. How the audit works.

What it covers

The entire building and its approach, audited zone by zone in the order a visitor actually experiences it, across all six domains. Each domain is scored and evidenced. The Emotional and Cultural domains, which no checklist and no scan can reach, are where most of the value sits.

What you get

One self-contained report in accessible HTML, which means it meets WCAG 2.2 AA, works natively with a screen reader and still prints cleanly. Most access reports are PDFs that fail the standards they cite.

Inside it: the scored profile across all six domains, named persona narratives, the spoon cost of the key journeys, and every finding costed three ways at Minimum, Best Practice and Regenerative, each flagged P1, P2 or P3.

Standards applied

BS 8300-1 and BS 8300-2:2018, Building Regulations Approved Document M, the Equality Act 2010, and PAS 6463 for cognitive load and sensory design. Standards are cited as evidence of what good looks like, never as the limit of the enquiry.

Side-specific deep dive

One or two domains, or a single specialist question, done properly.

For an organisation that already knows roughly where its problem is. Typical shapes: wayfinding and signage, acoustics and hearing enhancement, a Changing Places provision, emergency evacuation and PEEPs, or the sensory environment.

Narrow but deep, to the same standard as the full audit within its slice. The report names what it did not look at, so nobody mistakes it for a clean bill of health.

Digital Access Review

The six sides applied to a website, app or digital service.

Same framework, different medium. This is not an automated scan with the domains bolted on afterwards. Three to five core journeys agreed up front and audited end to end, including the parts that leave your site: the confirmation email, the PDF ticket, the third-party booking widget, the payment provider.

How the digital review works.

Access clinic

The most accessible door on the ladder, and the cheapest.

A focused, time-boxed advice call for an organisation or a person who cannot commission an audit but needs to get unstuck and get pointed at the changes that cost nothing.

It is not an inspection and not a report, and I will not sell it as either. What keeps the price honest is that there is no written deliverable beyond a short note of what came up.

Full detail on the clinic.

Advisory and partnership

Accessibility counsel on tap rather than a single report.

Ongoing advice, review of plans and decisions as they come up, and a named specialist to call. This sits naturally after a full audit, as the way an organisation keeps momentum on the fixes rather than filing the report and stalling.

Scope and cadence agreed at the outset.

Training and workshops

Building awareness and capacity inside your organisation.

Disability awareness, the actual legal duties under the Equality Act, the Social Model, and how to use the accessible equipment you already own. A surprising amount of training is needed simply because nobody was ever shown how the hearing loop or the evacuation chair works.

Sized to the client, from a half day upward.

Two more, on the same ladder

Design-stage review

Commentary on drawings before anything is built, which is the cheapest moment in the entire life of a building to fix an access problem. How this works inside a live project.

Verification and re-audit

A lighter follow-up after the work is done, to confirm what changed and what it moved. Not a full re-audit.

Every price is published in full on the pricing page, from £50 upward, with the sliding scale and the founding rates named as such.

What all six have in common

  • The zero-cost fixes come first. Every report lists them separately at the front, because there are always more than people expect and they are the ones you can act on this month.
  • Three costed options for every finding, so you can act at whatever budget you actually have rather than being handed one number.
  • The report goes to the organisation it is about, even when a funder commissions it. That is a contract term rather than a hope.
  • Written in the Social Model. The barrier is in the building. It is never in the person.
